So I was watching the Terminator movies today (have become slightly obessesed) and it hit me how the plot is really the same plot as the Matrix. I mean, they are both movies about A.I. taking over, and horrible war destroying life as we know it, right? Machines are the enemy. It's just that the Matrix is like what happens after the nucular war that the Conners are trying so hard to avoid. So I'm bouding down theses thought trails, when Sarah Conner suddenly proclaims Judgement Day to be August 29, 1997. Whoa, the matrix came out in 1997, and in it Agent Smith says that their current Matrix is set at the end of the 20th century. 1997. HMmmmmmm.
And this is just the funniest thing in the world... a quote from inside the Terminator dvd, "The role of the Terminator was originally going to be portrayed by O.J. Simpson. But, according to James Cameron in 1984, 'people wouldn't have believed a nice guy like O.J. playing the part of a ruthless killer.'" hahahahahaha
